Kithos is built on a simple premise: your data is yours. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the controls you have over it.
01 — Who We Are
Kithos is operated by a Columbus, Ohio business. "Kithos," "we," "us," and "our" refer to this business. "You" refers to the person using Kithos.
02 — What We Collect
We collect three categories of data:
(a) Account Data — name, email, authentication credentials, billing information. Provided by you when you sign up.
(b) Connected Data — the contents of communications services you choose to connect (email, messages, calendar, meeting transcripts, contacts). We only access what you explicitly authorize.
(c) Usage Data — how you interact with Kithos itself: queries made, features used, device and browser information, error logs.
03 — How We Use It
Connected Data is used solely to provide the Kithos service to you — generating behavioral profiles, surfacing relevant context, drafting communications on your behalf. We do not use your Connected Data to train public AI models. We do not sell it. We do not share it with advertisers.
04 — How It's Stored
Data is processed and stored using industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Credentials and API keys are encrypted.
05 — Who Can See It
Only you. Kithos personnel do not read your Connected Data. Automated systems process it to deliver the service. In rare cases — debugging a specific issue you report, or a valid legal order — authorized personnel may access limited data under strict controls.
06 — Your Rights
You have the right to:
- — Access the data we hold about you
- — Export your data in a portable format
- — Correct inaccurate data
- — Delete your account and all associated data
- — Revoke any connected service at any time

07 — Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, Connected Data is removed within a reasonable period. Some metadata may be retained longer if required by law.
08 — Children
Kithos is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We will notify you of material changes before they take effect.
